Hello, I am Karen and I work from home in Kent having started my business in 2004. I am married to Phil and we have two children who are now studying at University.
I am, by nature, a rather cautious person and I prefer to evaluate things carefully
before I make a decision. This business stood out as being a truly exceptional opportunity
to generate income by helping other people. I have absolute confidence in the company
and we have amazing 3rd party credibility to back it up. Furthermore, our services

The motivation for starting my business
Having worked for just one employer for over 25 years the time was right for a fresh challenge but I was very specific in what I wanted for my future. My ‘wish list’ included working from home, being my own boss, working the days or hours I wanted to, not having to be stuck in front of a computer or on the ‘phone all day, no selling, and, preferably, helping people. I didn’t want much did I?!
At the time, my children were approaching GCSEs and A Levels so I also wanted something that would fill the gap when they went to University so that I would not be suffering from ‘Empty Nest Syndrome’.
What I like most about the business
I like the fact that this business is about doing a job well once and then getting paid for it on an ongoing basis. The fact that I keep getting paid whether or not I do any work this month or for the next six month has its attractions!
I did not realise how friendly and supportive the people I work with would be. Although I am solely responsible for my own business I work closely with a fantastic team of people – none of whom I knew when I started. It is so much nicer than working in isolation and their enthusiasm and motivation rub off on me which in turn helps my business grow.
I also love the fact that just by consistently doing a little every week I am building
my business. Along the way I have achieved bonuses, not by doing anything extraordinary
but just by what I was doing anyway. My husband and I have had a fantastic six-
What I plan to do with my Income
With two children at University at the same time the costs are substantial and we would not be able to provide them with the level of financial support we give them without the income from my business.
Our company also provides a fantastic opportunity for community fund raising and I am very proud to have helped a local Hospice and other local charities raise thousands of pounds in income over the past few years.
Advice I would give to someone considering starting this business
The services that we provide are certainly the best overall value with the best customer
service in the UK (According to the UK’s leading independent consumer magazine) so
they are incredibly easy to promote. Currently we only have 1% of the market place
which leaves 99% of the UK waiting to hear about our Company. There is no requirement
to ‘sell’ the services as people already have them – so by offering them a way to
transfer their spending to an award-
